OCFilter allows you to filter products by price, discounts, manufacturer, composition, weight and dimensions, attributes, options, standard filters, and more.
The built-in OpenCart filter only works with filter values you assign to every product by hand, shows no product counts per value and reloads the page on every change. Tolerable for a few hundred SKUs; for electronics, apparel or auto parts it means shoppers cannot find the product and leave.
What filter modules add
